Not a bitter prayer for personal revenge, but a prayer for God to notice your plight, and to solve the problem for you.
I know people who have done just that, with two coworkers (not bosses). Two months later one of the coworkers was escorted out of the building, 6 months later the other was transferred out.
God does answer prayers.
Its happened for me too. The last really nasty boss, I prayed for god to guide me in service, right action, courage and industry, and for God to take charge of the relationship and work from the boss. My part was to do god’s will for me, which is to do what I am supposed to do, when I am supposed to do it, very simple.
It was not long when, nothing to do with me, the boss had his own new boss, who thereupon exited my old nemesis in short order. And, strangely, the ex-boss’s house was razed right off its lot by the new buyer - we were in the same village. The guy is out of my life, and his house is evaporated, and all I had to do was pray for my own actions, courage, industry, and to do what I am supposed to do when I am supposed to do it, with His guidance and inspiration. Personally, I think that is what a miracle looks like. At least a big a-ha, anyway. I am no bible thumper, but this was a good every day use of higher power relationship in my life. Must add, however, things do not always go my way. Sometimes I am the one who does the leaving. But, there is always something better for me after.
