Oh yeah, she was potentially a very bad desperado. The fact that her crime was "talking on a cell phone while driving", suggests those officers are lucky to be going home alive. Fortunately they did what they had too, to ensure going home safe that day.

Potentially? She IS a bad desperado by resisting for such a petty infraction. Well, petty to those who have never lost someone due to irresponsible people like her. And, I'm not claiming talking back to LE is resisting. It's obvious she made some "wrong moves" as her attorney admitted.

Also try putting this in perspective. ANYONE can carry a weapon. ANYONE can get back in their car to get that weaopn or drive away and cause havoc. This girl is STUPID and CRAZY. She caused all this because she didn't want to accept responsibility for being an irresponsible driver by resisting and not following orders after being stopped. I wouldn't discount any of the scenarios I described.

Ok ok, you’re right. As soon as they saw how she could not stay in control of her temper, the cops should have apologized for interrupting her cell conversation and evening drive. Then they should have quietly driven away, and never dared make a traffic stop again unless the person agrees with that law.

I notice that everyone is fine with fighting cops on the side of the road, but nobody much advocates fighting and becoming abusive to the city counselor or state legislator in public hearings. There are rules for everywhere you are. Even on the side of the road with a cop. If that was a city council meeting and she left the speakers podium and walked right up and got in their faces cussing a blue streak, she will get dealt with fast.
In a freakin’ Walmart, see what happens when you walk around behind the service counter and start cussing them.

Of course she will be beatified for ersatz sainthood now, the poor innocent waif. Glad that won’t ever happen to my daughter. She would take her ticket, and argue in court, maybe pay it, maybe throw it in the trash. But she wouldn’t get out and act like an ass.

Ive seen that video. I cannot imagine that he would recommend getting out and cussing them, arguing, etc.

Ok skippy, you’re slicing the pie kind of thin. “side of the road” was meant in the vernacular way. IE,, that a bum lives “on the street”. He doesn’t actually physically live in the middle of the roadway, does he now? Yet we say, he’s “on the street”.
She was driving down the road, he turned on the rollers, she pulled into that parking lot and THATS where she decided to launch into him.

Thats what i meant by “side of the road”. I didn’t speak literally there because it makes not a whit of difference unless you believe a Del Taco parking lot is some sort of “home base” where the cops may not follow.

There are a few things i would describe as being “up in the air”, or “swept under the rug”, but that might confuse you.

Then later she was back beside the police car as they were putting her in the backseat, and something happened that can’t be seen on video and the fight started again. She was taken to the ground again. Cop went down with her in the struggle.

I saw the video, and it looks like she was deliberately body-slammed face-first into the concrete while handcuffed.
