In 2007-2008 when unemplyment was under 5.6% - Sears (ALLSTATE) insurance ads on TV had the black actor who played the US President on the popular “24” TV series was saying:
“It sure feels like a recession to me.....”

Odd - I do not see Sears-ALLSTATE insurance ads talking “It sure feels like a recession!” now with 23 million Americans now out of work and unemployment at 8.3%
