Try Ben Coes. He has 3 books out with the character Dewey Andreas. I have read the first two and am looking (at the library) for the third. Great reading.
I also love Lee Child’s books, featuring Jack Reacher. A movie has been made of one of the Jack Reacher stories, coming out soon. Jack Reacher is a super tough guy, 6ft.4in. It’s a crying shame they got 5’7” Tom Cruise to play the part.
I also thoroughly enjoyed Barry Eisler’s series of books on the character John Rain.
Tom Cruise is playing Reacher? Who on earth thought that was a good idea? Dang.....
I love the Reacher books....but will not go to any Cruise movie.
