Please show how you can scan any similar document and get similar layer characteristics. (number of layers/color characteristics/# of bits/grouping of objects/red-blue shift/pixel size).

Having had years and years of experience using all sorts of scanners with all sorts of drivers, and involving all sorts of materials, let me tell you this about that, depending on the device, the drivers AND the material being scanned you will get just all sorts of things.
