It WAS a horror movie: “Bad Ronald”, a classic 1970s TV movie about a teenager living in a secret annex and spying on the family that lived there. look it up on IMDB.

What the hell? I had a mouse / mice living in the attic insulation above one room and it drove my whole family crazy with the scratching.

This is around where I live.
What you will not believe is there is only one way into the attic and thats thru the house. Also the ex made holes thru the cieling to see his ex girlfriends bedroom.
