Quadrophenia was the most depressing movie. I saw it when I was a young, sweet, idealistic college student. I had such a headache and was so sad when it was over that I couldn’t stay for the second feature, which was Pink Floyd’s The Wall. My friend on the other hand, bounced out of the theater saying”I know, it’s sad... but weren’t those scooters so cool?”

I guess I must be a rocker, because I sure as H-E-double toothpicks aint a mod.

I was a WHO fan before they even did Quadrophenia. The album nearly became anthemic for me in my twenties. Went through a lot of depression in those days so it fit me to a T.

Just saw the movie for the first time about a month ago. Glad I didn't see it back in the day as it would have spoiled the images in my mind that the music created for me. I may have been a mess in my youth but that kid was pathetic.

I wasn't alive in the 60’s, but I'd consider myself a rocker that really likes The Who and I'm seeing them in Pittsburgh in November!

I saw them in ‘89 as a teen in Buffalo and it was THE BEST live show ever! I'm not sure what to expect this many years later with no John Entwistle... :(

Pete’s autobiography comes out this month, can’t wait to read it.

This is one of the songs that got left off of the album, which was a shame because I thought it was great, and really explained the character of Jimmy better than anything.
