Yeah! A reader! As always, Cyber, I appreciate it!

I haven't plugged my old book in a decade or so, but this article really reminded me of when I was imagining her future to write about it.

I didn't get it exactly right, but I think I correctly predicted that her life would always be sad and her mind would never grasp how much Bill Clinton completely screwed up her life.

There's still another decade for her to get a bartending job in an Atlantic City go-go bar and increase my nostradamaty.

You can almost hear “To Sir, With Love.” Tallulah?

Boy, does that bring back memories. It was one of my favorite songs as a kid, but of course, I was far too young to understand its significance.

Still a beautiful track.

And here’s the future of the story: “And she died in her old age, never to give a BJ (aka, a lewinsky) again.”

Really, I don’t like seeing anyone young and stupid ruined like this in our society in service to leftists. We should be able to forgive people and redeem them after the media tears them apart in a political frenzy. It’s sad to me.

Getting entrapped, slimed and ruined by Bill and Hill and their nasty whoremeida when you are so young...shouldn’t happen here.

Just another example of the Dems war on women.

They don’t even care if she was a big-time Dem herself.

He was the adult.

In age only.

I, for one, feel sorry for her.

I do too. The fact that her father showed no anger at Clinton tells me she had a rather unsupportive childhood. Yes, she made the adult decisions to be a presidential groupie and got a lot of perks for her sexual fun and games but I've met a lot of women at 21 who thought this was just a "fun" phase of life with few consequences and believed nothing wrong would ever happen to her.

Hard to pay for those decisions with a lifetime of loneliness and lack of a mate.

No, she's not innocent but I think she was in way over head and was too young and dumb to realize it would never turn out the way she hoped.

Monica was a victim. A young girl who fell in love... You think that you should be defined by the worst thing you’ve ever done in your life? There are times I truly wonder about people who call themselves Christian. how long must she pay for what happened... or is forgiveness and mercy not in the Bible you read from?

I feel very sorry for her. She was young and it must have been irresistibly exciting to have that kind of access to a President of the United States. Now she is a laughing stock. (Look at the replies in this post! And WE are good people!) She has very little chance of ever finding a man to share her life with. And can you even imagine the life of any child she may have in the future? The Clinton's may not have killed her, but they certainly made her wish she was dead.

She was a willing participant but very young emotionally and ruthlessly exploited by an older man and even betrayed by “friends”. I feel sorry for her.

First time to go out in public? I don’t think she is recognizable now. How did this reporter know it was her?

And....she was USED by the (sleazy) President of the US...who knew better. And, I’m sure his sleazy wife was part of it, too. As some have said, would hope forgiveness would come for Monica, BUT a person has to ASK for forgiveness, also.

As far as Monica -- she was what, 22 years old, and having illicit sex *in the Oval Office* (not in his private residence or anything) with *the most powerful man on Earth*...who just happened to be married already.

When does the term "wishful thinking" become "Turbo Hamster"TM (*) anyway?

(*) For those unfamiliar with the term, "Hamster" is short for "Rationalization Hamster" -- the tendency towards solipsistic denial on the part of young women.

Forgiveness on God's part does not imply acceptance on the part of suitors.

("She s*cked off the President, for Pete's sake. I'll never compare to *that*.")

Well, you hit the jackpot on your posting #, anyway.

Cheers!

If you’ve seen the movie “dazed and confused” there’s a line where one
Guy has a dream of having sex with a
chick who has the head of Abraham Lincoln.

This would be similar , only the head
of a different president.

Ya know - when you're young you do a lot of stupid things. Hell, my personal rate of stupidity only seems to be increasing as I age. Fortunately for me, I never slept with a President, although if Condi were elected I might be tempted....

It's hard for me to believe that someone at that age, at that time, really had an understanding of the visibility of her actions. So yes, I do feel a bit sorry for her. I just can't imagine f-ing up my life so badly at such a young age. It would be nice if Ms. Lewinsky had the ability to drop from site and find eternal happiness, but, alas, that doesn't seem to be in the cards for her.

Given the circumstances - if I had the opportunity to pen a tale and get a few million dollars - I'm not so sure that I would turn it down - especially if the rest of my life was as s**t as her’s seem to continue to be.

It seems to me to be completely self-consistent. If Ms. Lewinsky had the self respect to not have to write such a book - she'd probably also have the self respect to not have had something to write about in the first place.

What does the Good Book say about reaping and sowing?

She believed she was someone, because she could attract and “entertain” the president... the most powerful man on the earth.

The reality was that her eagerness to uh, please was happily used and abused by a filthy, despicable rat who thought nothing of abusing his position of power over an insecure, starstruck intern who had zero self-respect.

These kinds of dysfunctional relationships are nothing new, but considering that in her case it became world news, leaving her to be seen by all - and for all time - as the slutty bimbo who even gained a permanent placename in the lexicon of the vulgar, I can see why she is where she is.

I may be in the minority around here but I feel sorry for her. She had to have had major daddy issues of abandonment. Yes, she was a foolish, trashy young woman, but evil Bill Clinton took full advantage of her immaturity and vulnerability and not only destroyed her psyche, but her ability to have a normal life.

Whatever family abandonment or abuse issues occurred with the grimy kenyan were not only out of the public eye, he chose to repay evil for even more evil (and that’s assuming he even has such an excuse), and punish an entire country for the sins of his elders. Or just destroy for the amusement of a power trip. No sympathy. Monica was relegated to a life with Ben and Jerry and a spoon.
