I believe he was referring to handloads.

I used to load my Ruger blackhawk in 45LC so hot it would partially obliterate the writing on the case heads.

i referred to specific guns that are capable of handling the pressures. check a reloading book, they’ll list .45 colt loads, then .45 colt loads for ruger/ thompson with heavier max loads than a .44 magnum.

i did not know that that uberti took .45 colt though. i thank you for correcting that part.
