Yes, it was obvious and sad that something was so wrong with Joe Biden. There should be mandatory drug/alcohol testing for Presidential/Vice Predential debate candidates. It is obviously needed!

Bidens dismisal of the Iranian ability to get a bomb remined me of John Aristotle Phillips: (From Wikipedia) Phillips was born in August 1955 to Greek immigrant parents and raised in North Haven, Connecticut[1] In 1976, while attending Princeton University as
a junior undergraduate, he designed a nuclear weapon using publicly-available books and papers.[2] In February 1977, several months after the story first went public, Phillips was contacted by a Pakistani official trying to purchase his bomb design, an incident addressed on the Senate floor by William Proxmire and Charles Percy.[3] Phillips was a celebrity by this time, dubbed The A-Bomb Kid by the media,[4] and making a series of television appearances including a featured spot on the game show To Tell The Truth.[3] Phillips was an underachieving student who played the tiger mascot at Princeton games. Hoping to stay at the school, he proposed a term paper for a seminar on nuclear proliferation outlining the design for an atomic bomb similar to the Nagasaki weapon. Whether the weapon as designed would have actually exploded was questioned.
Dr. Frank Chilton, a California nuclear scientist who at that time specialized in nuclear explosion engineering, said Phillipss design was pretty much guaranteed to work. [Associated Press, retrieved from Spokane Daily Chronicle, Oct. 9, 1976]. However, Phillips' faculty advisor Freeman Dyson, a renowned physicist, and professor Harold Feiveson, who held the seminar, said Phillips' design was not functional.[5] Nevertheless, the Federal Bureau of Investigation confiscated Phillips's term paper and a mockup he had constructed in his dormitory room. In 1979, Phillips published his story together with a co-author, David Michaelis, as Mushroom: The True Story of the A-Bomb Kid (ISBN 0-671-82731-6 / ISBN 0-688-03351-2).
A C student designed a workable a bomb design from publically available information, and slow Joe doesn't realize that the technology has improved in the 25+ years since.

“I agree with that and to me Ryan didnt have a great outing, though i think he did better towards the end and really came on strong in the last 10 minutes or so. My guess is that he was more concerned with not making big mistakes rather than trying to score a lot of big points. He played it safe and i think that was the right strategy given how the campaign is going right now for them. Obama/Biden needed to be more aggressive but as is the wont of liberals, Biden ended up being too aggressive and turned off a lot of people.”
Well put. And I will admit it’s easy for me to armchair
quarterback. I wouldn’t last a minute in a debate. All in
all he played his cards well.

One of the Israeli wargame scenarios is two container ships, in two Israeli ports....a simultaneous attack that could kill 10% of their population in an instant.a better plan would be an airrelease over the middle of Israel. The EMP would eradicate msot of their electronics and they would be reduced to hand weapons against planes and tanks.

I haven’t thought too much about Biden these last 3 1/2 years. After his “performance” last night I can’t decide who is more of a danger to this country, him or Obama.

That was mine too; how does Biden get off excusing the admin for following intel? Bush was excoriated for following intel!!!
But you are correct too — there is no way that the intelligence community was still saying protest over a clip on YouTube as long as the president’s minions were.

“a better plan would be an airrelease over the middle of Israel.”
Lots of things would be better...and Slow Joe seems fixated on how hard it would be for the Iranians to launch a ‘complex’ attack....i.e. ‘they don’t have a weapon to put it in’.
The cargo ship scenario doesn’t require violating Israeli airspace with a large aircraft, doesn’t require a missile, doesn’t require anything. No technology needed.

The worst for me was the deliberate plan to NEVER address Ryan by anything personal. It was intentional that he called him “my friend” 20 times as if Ryan is just another person he’ll debate along his guv-mint journey.
To: King Hawk
The ‘my friend’ term is used in congress and the senate. I think Joe was doing that to remind people Ryan was a congressman...and try to connect the dots of ‘voted for two wars on a credit card’, etc.
Most people really don’t know much about Ryan...they saw a young, smart guy with a plan. Joe wanted to pin him as an unpopular congressman.

I couldve sworn I heard Biden snicker when Ryan was talking about abortion. I don't think there was a topic about which Biden DIDN'T snicker!

Best moment of debate was when Biden suddenly turns to the camera and starts doing a “first person” schtick asking seniors watching on TV who they trust. I was laughing out loud. It was like a cameo in Scary Movie 3.
Biden’s giggling reminded me of Pelosi’s fascist glee when the commies rammed Obamacare thru, unread.
It’s the “We’re destroying your country, lying to your faces on live TV, and there’s nothing you can do about it” laugh.
