Did anyone else notice that the way Biden acted last night is clearly the way the administration has acted toward the people?

Never (that I know of) has an administration been more at odds with the will of the people than this one and Biden typified it with his rude laughter.

The people express themselves and obama just keeps true to his ideology; the ultimate “in your face”. Biden’s ongoing laughter, last night was right in line.

Delphi technique is pointing a meeting to a particular goal or conclusion without letting them consider alternatives. Like a dam bursting, push the meeting to your destination, leaving opponents stunned, or dragged along.

To disrupt it, remain calm, stay on point, don't rise to the bait.
Then find them in the parking lot and throw dog poop on their shoes.

We do seem to give way to much credence to Alinksy. Machiavelli said it all first, anyway. It's not like before Alinsky no one had tried ridicule, big lies, attacking an individual, personal attacks, etc., before.

I think sane people recognize an A-Hole when they see one. Biden got a lot of people to see him as such last night.

And the part where Biden mentioned Syria and that we were analyzing who the good guys are so we can give them the equipment they need...so do we have people there doing this?

Looks like Ryan knew what to expect. Didn't take the bait.
I thought Ryan handled himself presidentially. Biden was so annoying I had to mute whenever he spoke.

The way to counter it is to deal with it directly. Ryan did not do that.

George Bush did it effectively against Al Gore in their debate just by cocking his head and looking at Gore in a manner that said Gore was acting really wierd. It took no words.

Ryan just kept going with this message. Biden overplayed his hand, however, which is what saved Ryan. Ryan should have been preparred, turned to Biden and said something like, Joe, thermal nuclear war is a pretty serious subject. Laughing at it is not good.

Or he could have just said, Joe, I know what tactic you are trying to use. It is right out of Alinsky’s book. Explain the Alinsky tactic for the viewers. Then say, keep playing games if you like, but this nation has serious economic troubles, there are millions of views looking to see which one of us has the best solution. What they are getting from you is a cheap debate tactic.
