My gawd, what did he expect High Schoolers to do with toilet plungers while they were roaming the hallways? He expected they would be so embarrassed to be seen carrying a tool a janitor would use that they would take fewer trips to the bath room smoke breaks.
It only took a few years of "higher" education for him to utterly forget being a normal teenaged boy. (OTOH, maybe this one was never normal)...
