In the home stretch of the presidential campaign, Mitt Romney is gaining enthusiasm on the campaign trail and support in the polls. "The Romney people feel like they are on the march... things are getting better, they're moving," CBS News political director John Dickerson said today on "CBS This Morning." However, he added, "If the Romney campaign's on the march, the Obama forces are at the barricades."

“Obama campaign ... at the barricades.” I love it. Let the assault grow, move forward, overpower the barricades and defeat the bastards.

Hmmm. What would Patton say about manning barricades instead of maintaining a mobile defense in depth?

The president, however, who just wrapped up a two-day campaign blitz through eight states, also sees enthusiasm at his events.

The president is seeing enthusiasm from moonbat supporters who react to his constant snarking.

Not the way a winner goes into an election.

Anyone else ever notice in these articles it’s always “Romney and Mr. Obama”, never “Romney and Obama” or “Mr. Romney and Mr.Obama”?

If they called him President Obama it would be less of an issue, because until MR. Romney takes office that is his title. But if they’re going to call him Mr. Obama, they owe that same respect to Mr. Romney.

You can always tell who is winning by where the are campaigning.

If they are campaigning in the other guys territory, that is the winner.

Romney could become in charge of the Office of The President Elect in a couple of weeks.

Please keep in mind who published this article. If the editorial team of CBS was forced by circumstances to begin to write this kind of articles, it means that something pretty serious is happening ...

The difference between being on your toes (Romney) or on your heels (Obama).

Any group of dems that want their own little area is fine with me. as long as we can build a tall fence around their barricades and keep the freaks contained.

Obama may be at the barricades but, we already know he doesn’t have any bayonettes. Should be pretty easy to overrun his defenses.

In all seriousness, before the debate I was voting against Obama but, after the debates I’m actually voting for Romney. I really have the sense that for this time and place in our history we need an experienced buiness guy. Romney clearly understands ledgersheets, knows how to work with people he doesn’t agree with, and he’s also gifted enough as a politician to those sorts of things, too. In short, I’m enthused about this guy.

If Romeny wins, I’ll truly have a sense that these trillion dollar deficts will go away and our social spending might finally be brought under some sort of control. If Obama wins, I truly fear our last chance of avoiding a financial collapse will have been wasted.

In other words, if we can’t win this election, I pretty much doubt we’ll ever win an election again. The Dems will become like the PRI in Mexico,,,entrenched, corrupt, and souless.

As Americans we have a right to call him whatever we want to call him, and if people have a problem with that then it’s just too bad. Whether they like it or not, this is still America, and we still have a right to express ourselves.
