Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but I think it’s the effects of the hurricane, whether it’s offshore or not that people are worried about. The wet heavy snow that downs trees and power lines etc.

I could be wrong as I’ve never lived through one, but that’s what I’m understanding.

This storm, real or not is being used to cover over Benghazi. The media is using it to drown out the real story. Now, is it a fake storm? Probably a stretch but who knows. Either way, it is serving the administration well.

The clashing of the massive Benghazi storm front with the Hurricane storm front will cause huge waves of wet disgust.
If the Hurricane front weakens appreciably it will threaten those beating on it to keep the Benghazi front at bay.

I predict (yellow arrows) it will not turn left as soon as they think and it will hit either Conn, Mass, NH or Maine. The left arrow I meant to be abit more south pointing at Conn.

But it wouldn't surprise me if it did by-pass the US all together.

This is one of the most irresponsible things I have ever read on the net. This storm will NOT miss the US. It is right on track. The surge values will be as projected +/-1' unless it speads up or slows down and comes in on a different tide (and tides are huge players). For instance...the surge will be around 6' in Battery. If it comes in on a HIGH tide, as projected now...it means 11' of water. If it comes in on a low tide...it means 8-9'. A 6 hour error in the timing means a LOT.

But back to the article. Piers is a good forecaster....long range...but this is stupid. Sandy has already begun the turn back to the N...and even if the models were ALL wrong...and it just went straight N from where it is now...it would hit New England.

But what do I know....I've just been forecasting for a living for 25 years...in the tropics...with hurricanes...

I posted that earlier today, how unbelievably lucky it is for Obammie the Scumbag Commie to have this storm come up now and how lacking poetic justice the entire development is.

Ok. So satellites show the storm, but aren’t all the readings provided by govt agencies? We’re getting the y2k treatment by the Feds right now. Never seen such storm of the century hype ever. And it is a cat 1 ?

Nobody ever said the storm wasn’t real. It’s either barely a hurricane or just a large storm.
