AN Irish priest who claims Abba owe him money for a gig 33 years ago says he put a curse on the band’s singer — and turned her into a hermit.

What's a PRIEST doing dabbling in the occult anyway?

Whatever happened to *Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you?*

I'm guessing that whatever mental illness is allowing him to justify such behaviors is the same or related to the same one that causes him to focus his supposed 'hex' upon a spectacularly beautiful and talented lady who had absolutely nothing at all to do with any pecuniary complaint that his fevered mind has concocted.  A pop group of ABBA's stature will have clear financial channels that they operate under, most likely managed by a massive firm and several people who do nothing but manage the group's finances.  Agnetha Faltskog would never have even seen such a bill or been aware of the financial terms of whatever arrangement this 'priest' alleges.  Any such arrangement made in 1979, if it did even exist, would have a clear and well-documented paper trail.   This whole thing is most likely a manifestation of this 'priest's' hysteria, which is why nothing has been legally resolved with it for the past 33 years.

For this evil little man, such things are apparently swept by the wayside when he sees an opportunity to frighten people with his supposed magical powers.  This gives his weak, corrupted soul a mechanism for self-aggrandizement, as does this silly business of shouting it all to the world via this article in The Sun.

I am left wondering why whatever church he is affiliated with has not revoked his position and standing with them.  I hardly think that any reputable organization, much less any reputable religious one, would be comfortable having an obviously deranged individual casting hexes on people and then bragging about what he's done to the entire planet.  Something's very wrong here.
