God blessed this country greatly because it was founded “Under God”. The leadership elected again last night took “Under God” out of their platform thereby rejecting Him. It is now futile to ask God’s blessings on this country. It will not happen. Like Sodom and Gomorrah of old this country will see God’s wrath and like Lot and his family we can be assured that if we as individuals hold fast to Him we will be protected.
I posted this on another thread and is going to be my position for the next 4 years.....
At the risk of sounding like a nutcase, I can’t help but think that this is God’s judgment on us. This country has rejected Him on so many levels and now He’s given it what it wants. (I do not say *us* because I don’t want to sound like it includes all those of us who are Christ followers and/or conservatives.)
We’re toast.
I agree metmom. I think we can understand how Lot felt. I will not participate in the evil that this country has embraced and those who have truly put Christ first in their lives had better learn to understand how to separate themselves.
