OK...so Obama has won reelection. It will be bad, of that there is NO doubt. However, good can come from this.
People here are in denial. It’s sad to see.
When Reagan was President 84 percent of Americans were working.
16 percent were takers.
Now, 47 percent of Americans are takers. And with 4 more years
Of Obama, that number will grow. More food stamps, more welfare, more
Illegals
More Obama Phones. U get the picture. The Takers have overrun
The country. Unfortunately, the numbers are just not there nationally.
This nation has to hit the wall before anything will change. That wall will have 1861 written on it.
What makes you think anything will change4 in the GOP over the next four years?
The GOP is out of excuses and we will not likely survive this election as a Unified Nation.
Yep. Why else has O ‘Reilly been writing books about Lincoln and there just happens to be a movie coming out about Lincoln? The GOP is dead. It’s going to split. The whole country could split. I don’t want to be a slave.

It is about to.get worse. I am done. Making plans to.regroup and get off the grid some how. It is very clear that these idiots want the govt to run things. I am seriously thinking about costa rica.
You have seen what this man has done. I have never in all my years of elections have seen someone get reelected in the state this country is in. There is nothing to stop him now.
For once in my life I am truly frightened. More people are going to lose their jobs more take over of businesses and industry through regulatios. You/we are going to be witnesses to the total collapse of our capital
sysem and in its place a socialist government much like Venezuela.
Most of us knew that this election was for all the marbles and we lost and by losing we lost what was left of the republic. Elections in 4 more years? Don’t thing so. America is goone. The only satifaction is that these people who voted for Obama will suffer too.
As for Romney he was not my first choice. But as I watched him he had gained my.respect and trust. He would have made a fine president. He should have won tonight. Something is terribly wrong here.
If the GOP wants to win national and other key elections...they will need to:
- Dump the Liberal PhonyCon RINO candidates and agenda. It does not work. If you still think it works...maybe you should talk to President Dole, President McCain, and ask George HW Bush how his second term went?
- Dump the “we need Hispanic voters” nonsense. All that is doing is pushing Illegal Alien Amnesty...which turns off a large segment of the base. And, Illegal Aliens and their supporters are never going to vote GOP anyway
- Dump the Free Trade/Globalism nonsense. Why emulate the EU? And, you cannot win conservative-to-moderate working-class voters who vote Democrat because you want to ship their job to Communist China. Like the “Hispanic Voters/Amnesty” nonsense....Free Trade/Globalism is a sure loser in the Rust Belt states. and, Free Trade is a Liberal idea...look at all the Dems and European Socialists who support it?
- Realize that Fox News, GOP Talk Radio, and most of GOP Media is not conservative. They used to be conservative, but now they attack people who bring up Obama Eligibility! These are the same people that were willing to impeach Clinton for soiling an interns dress....and now they are chickening out on a wholly Constitutional regarding w Obama?
- Emphasize sites like FR and others that support and promote real conservative values. Get the word out to others. Alluding to my previous point....I cannot believe there are those in the GOP Media who attack FreeRepublic, WND, Drudge, and some other sites. Hint: A GOP Talker or Media person is not a conservative if they are attacking this site or other conservative sites

No we won’t. We are in the early stages of a massive debt spiral that will consume us. This is beginning of the end of the Great Unravelling that will take us into the Fourth Turning. In 20 years, nothing about our society will be the same.

Yeah, good analogy. Whether we attrite our way out or it is more immediate, we are done. I don’t plan to tell fairy tales to prop up anyone spirits. It has NEVER been this bad, not even under Roosevelt, at least he wanted the US to survive, this guy does not and those who support him are interested in one thing....keeping their bennies coming.
Best case, dollar collapses, which it would were Europe not a basket case too, and we start over. Such a calamity most would not be able to deal with and rapid change would come.

I just e-mailed my Army father (Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Medals) and issued a similar apology for being a `Pollyanna’ about the mental acuity and character of my fellow Americans. He saw this coming, I didn’t.
I believed, surely America wouldn’t punch this Zero’s ticket again after the last four years! I thought it was a lock. (I know. Don’t call you Shirley.)

I’m dropping out, too, oldplayer and doing more prepping. I won’t make a nickle more than I want to be taxed—Why should I work more for less? So that I can turn it over to Zero so he can give it away?—and I’m gaming the system as much as I can. I have a cousin in Alaska and may look into that.
There’s no working to patch something as badly flawed as half this country has proven itself to be tonight. It is what it is.

1) No conservative to FR liking is never going to be president again. Romney was the gops best hope; Santorum,
Bachman, Hunstman, Gingrich, Paul would not have done better.
3) How do you square “conservatives can stop devouring each other and develop consensus” with “NO MORE RINOs”? The gops shrinking tent is a real liability and to keep throwing out RINOs (libertairians, and Reagan democrats, etc.) just is not good strategy for winning elections.
5) Doomsday is on Dec 21. ;)

Jesus said that many would do so.
But if you read clearly the scriptures they have laid out our map clearly.
I fear we are the generation or our grandchildren, who will suffer much before Our Lord’s Return....
Secondly -- was it God's answer, or man's fraud?
There were reportedly 100,000 more votes for Obama in Philadelphia than there were registered Dems; and Dade County was allowed to have approx. 1/4 of their precincts continue voting *three hours* after the polls closed.
GOP turnout was very large; it may be that voter fraud was larger.
*IF* that was the case, was it God's will or our not being vigilant (even long term, to allow the buildup and conditions for the fraud to be put in place and considered "normal")?

Now, the democrats will expand their attacks on our Christian churches...homosexual marriage will be a reality...the issue was never really about gay rights people...it is about the destruction of our Christian churches.
They will take over by regulatory and taxation power our private sector.
They will create an atmosphere where it is even more difficult for opposition...look at how the media helped the democrat party this election cycle...it is insane to think that it will get better later...they are going to consolidate power even more than during the first term.
No, if we want to change things we will have to bring down this government by other means...legal means. In Poland they boycotted and walked off their jobs and defeated the Communists...but, in this country we still live in a relative lap of luxury...most will not risk their precious livelihoods to save the nation...hell, I remember how many could not go to the Tea Party event just before the obamacare vote because of familiy or friend get togethers...these people will not be put out by restoring freedom.
So, we can live here watching this country decline and our children’s opportunities die more every year or we can choose to move to better more free nations...now there are plenty.
Don’t know what I will do yet but I am leaning towards moving to another nation.
Congress and Senate have been reduced to Kabuki theater. They mean less than nothing to those who intend to rule by fiat.
