If you spend much time on this site, you know that there were many, many who vowed to sit this election out because they did not like Mitt Romney.
From the numbers we saw last night, I’m thinking they did just that.
You have to recall, too, that this site was virulently, nastily anti-Romney earlier in the year, many long-time FReepers banned for supporting him. That damage was never undone.
I never have liked Romney, still don’t, really. But I wish with all my heart that he had won. I did my part; not sure all FReepers did.
It is true that there were a lot of people here who swore they’d never vote for for Romney. But I assume if they were in battleground states that most of them did to fight Obama.
I liked Romney as a good person who lives as a conservative. And that he was better than a commie.
