The 5 Stages of Loss and Grief

1. Denial and Isolation
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance

This election reminds me of the above.
Each one of us are going through these stages - I have a combination of all of them (except #5!)

I hope we don’t ever get to #5
The Government is counting on us getting to #5
“Their” country can’t work (as they plan) until the “makers” get to #5

Don’t be a #5

I was in shock until this morning. Paralyzed. Grief striken. Wanted to cry, but couldn’t. Then something weird happened. I was cutting onions for soup and the onions made me cry. Immediately, on the BBN radio network, two songs played — “No More Night” and “Finally Home”. They’re both beautiful, about Heaven, and then the onion crying turned into the other kind. The songs put the whole election thing into perspective. Had a good cry. Now I feel better. Moving on. Ignoring Democrats and Republicans. I feel better since I gave up hope.
