"When Patrick J. Buchanan stood before the Republican National Convention some years ago, and declared that there was a cultural war in this country, how did you regard his remarks? (Aside: many Republicans and even conservatives then mocked him as a nut, as do many of this forum still do, today)"

Right Pat spoke with wisdom on many matters but his mere name brought out hatred from those who disliked his America first policies in both economic and in foreign affairs.
