I know it slows down an A10 warthog a fair amount. Probably slows down whatever is on the receiving end of those Gatling guns as well; just a hunch! *grins!

I saw a show about A10’s on the history or military channel awhile back. One of the pilots they interviewed said that the plane would fly backwards if it had enough ammo and you could hold down the trigger long enough with out melting the barrels.
