Clinton tried to implement abortion on demand in military hospitals and clinics, and the doctors refused to go along. In other words, a lot of them would have quit.
I know that one reason I worked for the feds, the IHS, was that most Native Americans are prolife, and I knew that federal guidelines protected my job if I refused to work to get someone an abortion. (I know of only 3 cases who got abortions in the years I worked with them, and I was not involved: One where the life of the mom was at risk and two because of malformation),
However, Obama has removed the conscience clause from all doctors, and presumably will press all hospitals to provide care in the near future.
Here in the Philippines, Hillary is pressing for abortion/contraception to be made legal, and a lot of American NGO’s are promoting it in the press..
