I was gonna hit the panic button on my car when they announced his name..then I thought, If everyone in town does that, the clock tower might collapse.LOL! What a night. Never dreamed Kerrville would be celebrating a local Heisman winner. History was made. I need to drive by the clock tower to see if it's still there. ;o)

I remember playing at Tivy Stadium back in 1965-67. The field was high in the middle and sloped off the sides so much one could barely see the opposing team on the other side. I also remember the sod was thin and the rock underneath the sod punishing. Congratulations to a Tivy Blue and Gold graduate from a Maroon and Old Gold Wildcat from Del Rio.
