One would have to really want to be alone. Might not be bad for a year or so, or until some medical problem rises. After too long I’d feel hemmed in, like Jim Carey in the Truman Show, but who am I to talk, haven’t been out of town in 10 years. Skiing in 11. Disney in 14. San Diego in 12. I’m living in my own claustrophobic island of my neighborhood and inside the house.
I’d probably run up one huge internet bill! At least several TB’s a month.
