The name of the show is a play on “porn stars.” Duh.
ZZ Top: Pearl Necklace and Sharp-dressed Man also come to mind.

One of my co-workers was there while they were shooting one these “staged” buys. He was an aspiring extra (I guess there really is such a critter) from CA playing the part of the Sea Hag who was in earlier to sell the item but she was even to fugly for this show.
Shows like these have spread like a bad rash all over tee vee. One of the many reasons I got rid of cable.
This the guy up in Chicago or Detroit.....the old guy with a daughter and son who work with him. He’s a skeezer, and all his customers are Obama voters.

I don't know of a federal employment protection for voluntarily appearing on a soft-core porn Internet site. Ms. Black wasn't a member of a protected class.

I think you had it right the first time. That show is pure cornball.

Umm... you know that blanket statements are usually more wrong than they are right, right? Why would Pawn Stars pay actors for those parts when ordinary people will line up for the chance to get their mug shown on TV, for free? Does not compute.
Because sometimes the people lining up to get on tee vee are so low quality and un directable that it’s cheaper to slip someone who is directable a few bucks so you can wrap up your shooting and move on to editing.
I wouldn’t hire anyone with a past like that personally.
Apparently “Suicide Girls” are all a bunch of tatted up lesbians or something
