Their deal does not apply to the next Congress. The next Congress is not legally bound to take it into consideration when writing a budget

By law the senate must produce a budget, as well.
Law does not seem to be an obstacle to the DC Crowd.

Those people up there are the biggest wimps to let the socialist agenda run all over the American people who are Americans not socialists. It seems not one of them will fight a strong fight. They could not get the base out to support them. What the heck do they expect now. It is NOT right to tax another group of Americans double to help pump up this free loading society. The producers are already being taxed higher than the poor! Hello.. now.. double tax. I sure wish there were a rebellion on this out of control spending money give away programs which is a corrupt government. These republicans are about finished because how in the world do they ever get more people to vote for them. I blame them for a lot of this. We need an overhaul. We need new people over seeing the books and procedures. We need term limits. They are making voters uninterested in the process so we will keep losing our country’s free market values.

You talk like the Constitution still means what it says. How cute.
The Constitution is like paper money. It only has the value that the majority agrees it has.

The 20th Amendment provides that Congress shall meet every year on January 3rd. It doesn’t specify what time of day. The old “lame duck” Congress still has legislative powers until the new Congress convenes. The old Congress has not yet adjourned sine die.

The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

The Constitution doesn't seem to be much relevant to anything anymore. Both sides, Democrats and Republicans, Conservatives and Liberals, even Tea Party Congressmen, have promoted and voted wildly unconstitutional powers to the tyrant. Our Tea Party Congressmen voted to give the tyrant the power to sequester, disappear, or kill, anyone he desires without any sort of legal proceedings. Conservatives voted to set up TSA and to expand TSA. There are no fundamental differences among the politicians, no matter what they call themselves. None cried "foul" when the tyrant assumed the power to make new laws and alter laws passed by Congress, Some muttered at the uses of the tyrant's newly assumed powers but did not and do not question his right to assume those arbitrary powers.
It is going to take something far more drastic than elections to change the direction of the system. Congress, ALL of Congress has acceded to, yea granted, the tyrant's rule by fiat.
