Knob Creek bourbon, and Makers Mark are among my favorites. The last time I tangled with Wild Turkey it just about put me down for the count. Keep up the Gatorade, the room will stop spinning eventually.

This indescribable feeling I have had since, deep inside, has not subsided. But Laz’s thread was the 1st FR fun postings I have had since.

I know the feeling! I still can't even wave at my neighbors since they put up an Obama sign in their yard 2 weeks before the election (up to that time, we thought they were conservative. they have never put any signs in their yards in previous elections)

But hey, now you get to plan a wedding! Laz's engagement ring is a bit on the large-ish side (:P) but it definitely has a nice shine!

A FReeper wedding is well attended so pick a good caterer! Of course, your colors will be FReeper red and blue!

{shuddering}

Had a bad experience with Gin when I was still a teen (mother was a big fan of it)... even the smell of the stuff makes me gag :/

Same here with tequila...never even a sip of a margarita after those 3 tequila shots someone badgered me into doing. Do like wine however.

Black coffee, nothing added.

Water, lots of it.

Late in the evening, a glass of Port. Fonseca 20yr Tawny or V Sattui 1998 Vintage Port being my favorites.

Beer, any and all flavors and many varieties of wine.

I don’t drink often. I am addicted to good dark coffee. I like the way Cafe Bustos smells like baker’s chocolate when you first open it.

I sometimes enjoy an extra cold beer or two with a little salt on a particularly hot day. I haven’t had a San Miguel in a long time. A glass of cheap port after dinner is nice, if I buy a bottle once in a great while. I’ve never had a bad bottle of port. Almaden Red Mountain Rose is sometimes revisited because of an old memory it provokes. I can appreciate the taste of a single malt scotch, but leap years visit more regularly than that peaty spirit.

Same here. I was sober for New Year, so, I decided to have a couple of glasses of Red Wine tonight ;)

(White is too dry for my taste :/)

Oh yeah, Bombay Blue Sapphire. I think it’s 90 proof and you can feel that extra 10 proof. It makes excellent Martinis...

Santa left some for me under the Tree this year. It does make great martinis.

I had a similar experience. I used to often meet a neighbor of mine in the early morning while walking our dogs and we'd talk about work, sports and other things. Then an Obama sign popped up in his yard last October and I've been taking a different route ever since. It's kind of sad how this election divided us but I don't suffer fools gladly. He does have college age kids living at home so that might have been the reason. But still, no sign goes up in my yard unless I agree to it. If my own kids want to put an Obama sign in the yard, they can go buy their own damn house and I have no problem telling them so!

Didn’t call it Scream Ale for nothing....LOL.

Genny seems to be making a comeback as a brand, though the brewery spends most of it’s production on Labatt’s Blue Light Lime. They also do contract work for other brewers as well. Many of the craft brewed beers you see in the local WNY markets are brewed/bottled there.

Plan a wedding? Why don’t you just come and shoot me! Hahahaha.

I know the people in the office who voted for this “lesser” demon. Been telling the boss as well. If there are to be layoffs, might as well be the ones who voted for this piece of cr@p.

As I have stated before I am TRYING to love my enemy, but am falling quite short of doing so. The only thing I can do now is keep my mouth shut and not argue with them.

In regards to our FReeper wedding.....it will be Red White and Blue. Anyone showing up in yellow will be shot on sight ; )!

Bud Light mixed with clam broth and tomato juice...what a nightmarish vision. Was that image for real?

I rarely drink, although a glass of red wine is occasionally enjoyable.

But for me, it’s Dunkin Donuts coffee (strong) and Diet Mt. Dew (caffeine-free if I can find it, so I can save my caffeine for the Dunkin).

” I am TRYING to love my enemy,”

Stop. Please. It only empowers them and gives them comfort, not a reason to change.

A really good martini does it for me as a cocktail, especially on an empty stomach. Lagavulin or Macallen 18yo on the rocks if I’m staying up late with good friends. Having said that, if a certain frame of mind is in order, absinthe is unsurpassed.
