Let’s see what happens in IL. It looks like they may confiscate most guns there.

Economic collapse.

A gun will buy ten gallons of milk.

Or five gallons of gas.

Or a case of Kansas T-bones.

Take your choice.

Oh, BTW, if your neighbor has guns and doesn’t turn them in, you will get a 3 month supply of food for reporting it...

You may as well stop that....and others too might stop as well.

It was funny a few times....but not anymore.

I OWN LEGAL GUNS....and continue to own them. Period.

Well, you could hide your guns. If enough people do that, what will the government do?

I predict bloodshed, on the part of the "authorities". And rightfully so - no state has the right to supercede the God-given right to self-defense which is partly enumerated in the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

I see the sheepy cidiots turning in they're weapons, but the majority of the fly-over and rural folks ain't gonna have any of it!

We have ways of dealing with gun grabbers...

Praying it won’t come to that, but the fact that confiscation and “control” are even being talked about makes me think - may your aim be true.

But they will.

History is repeating, and even among ardent Republicans I know - they refuse to believe such a thing ‘can happen here’.

These are the same idiots who refuse to believe Obama is a Marxist, and he’s just your typical Democrat whose term is up in 4 years and we will right the ship of state in 2016.

Clueless and willful ignoramuses, the lot of them.

Well, They gave up their guns in Canada; and they gave up their guns in Australia for cryin out loud! The land of men and outlaws! without so much as a peep! What makes anyone think that Americans are going to be any different when the sheriff comes knocking at the door? I personally have grave concerns sorry to say.

“If they decided to go after gun owners who refused to register,... “

And they would gain that knowledge how?

Credit Card checks for gun releated purchases?

And who will “they” send to your door?

And since news travels at the speed of light....Many will see this coming.....and....plan accordingly.

1% non-compliance is more citizens than law enforcement.
And that assumes “they” would have 100% participation.

THAT won’t last long!

Should total confiscation be attempted, all they will do is issue warrants for all known/registered gun owners and wait. The next time you drive the officer runs your tag and see an outstanding warrant. Whaddaya gonna do? Start a running gun battle with himr and bring the whole force down on you? Or how about your family being with you - gonna risk them? i.e. Turn in your guns or stay in jail and risk your job, etc.

Typical of Washington, they’ll put the load on the police forces and pick you off one or two at a time. Maybe each trooper will get a new quota system - to keep the frogs from yelling about the hot water - each pick off no more than 10 or so a day. Yeah, it will take a while but with all 50 states doing it, confiscation will be accomplished with little or no bloodshed - and no door-to-door raids.

“registered firearms”

There aren’t any in this state and many states, except those requiring the Federal Class III licence.
Full Auto, etc.

Family transfers, private sales, tens of millions untraceable....

Are you saying that they’d never do it, or that it wouldn’t work?

Google “guns for groceries”

They already tried it and it did work.

So carry on, J-off!

Famous politicians will soon join them in a spate of revenge killings, many of which will go unsolved.

Sooner, rather than later..

99% will submit to the slaughter like sheep.
The other 1% will suffer horribly.

The 99% "survivors" will suffer horribly too, once the guns are gone and the government is no longer held in check by an armed citizenship.
