Just what I always thought. They are all RINOs now. Every last one of them. Something happened to them on the way to Washington.

Republicans behave like battered spouses. They always seem to run back to the only form of love that they know, and then keep making excuses for why it's okay.

You'll see the exact same behavior right here come midterm elections.

For the first time since I've been 18, I'll probably not even bother to vote. Don't see the point in it anymore.

Not working.

It's not working in some closed primary states either. So open or closed is not the problem.

We can’t look to congress or the courts to protect our liberties and govern according to the Constitution. I believe it will come down to all of us ordinary folks. We may have to rise up and take back this country by force.

I agree with you. We Conservatives have no real organization. We have no leader. And, yes, it seems overwhelming, but we must keep fighting in any and all ways. We need a leader for starters.......

I still want to know which Conservatives voted and who they voted for. I'm still asking if anyone knows of a list that shows this info...I've tried Google and came up with nothing. Would you know abut this?

most of where I disagree with them could be sorted out among the states, like it's supposed to be.

Which is the position of the vast majority of libertarians. I don't agree with everything in the official LP platform either, but if they had power, they'd be a hell of a lot closer to voting as I would than any republican or democrat.

“Tell me again why a 3rd party, The T.E.A. Party, would be a bad thing?”

Hypothetical general election results:

Case 1

Democrats 45%
GOP 35%
Tea Party 20%

Case 2

Democrats 40%
GOP 25%
Tea Party 35%

etc.

Democrats won’t fall below 40% so anything which splits the center/right will guarantee the dems a plurality win.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plurality_(voting)

As it is the GOP has lost the popular vote 5 of the last 6 elections for Potus. Hardly makes sense to dillute the vote.

Makes more sense to invade the GOP, which the TP was and remains about. In many cases they need better candidates.

Hold the debt ceiling hostage until the Senate produces a budget.

It appears the "one time" stimulus jammed through is now part of the baseline.

link 12/2011

… the Obama-Pelosi-Reid "one-time Stimulus package" was built into the baseline, which means each year that the Obamacrats can avoid writing a budget is another year that this cash furnace can continue burning your children's money

At least I can say that my freshman congressman (newly elected J. Bridenstein-R, 1st Congressional District-OK) voted for Cantor (not that great) not old Bonehead.

I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. Once again the cowardly Republicans did as they were told and voted the way the Democrats and the Media instructed them to.

So tell me again Mr. and Mrs. Conservative: What is your reason for continuing to support the Republican Party?

It’s sad reading the majority of replies on this thread. It simply illustrates the fact that most here, either refuse to accept it or have no comprehension of what time it is.

The bewilderment over Bachman, the repeated calls to ‘primary’ the Ruling Class Judenrat to the MarxoFascists, the continued strategizing and worrying over elections in 2014 and 16.

The National Socialists have achieved total power folks. The Ruling Class and all in the halls of D.C. know what time it is. They are going to do whatever it takes to share in the power as it will be wielded, or be run out of power by their own. Some even in talk radio appear to be resigned to acknowledging reality here.

As for the rest of us - we’re having pretty yellow labels sewn for us by the Regime and it’s media that they are slapping on our lapels. The hatred against such targets is being stoked by this regime for acceptance by the populace. Calls to kill and treat Conservatives and gun owners as terrorists is being promoted in the mainstream. The punishments, criminalization’s and eventual genocide against us is in the ‘initiate’ phase, make no mistake. That is why the massive push for gun confiscations and bans is being rushed on through - just like ObamaCare was.

And like the budget deal - the legislation will arrive right as the votes are being cast and no one will read what is inside, total criminalization with massive punishment for anyone caught not complying with surrendering their god-granted rights.

Don’t kid yourself and wave that notion off. History speaks to what is taking place here.

I only read one person here who spoke words that indicate to me that he gets it: he’s in survival mode.

We ALL should be in survival mode and ready to defend ourselves from what is coming.

There ARE no more elections to win, we have already been transformed into a National Socialist Welfare Party run by overt MarxoFascists. What they need to establish total and complete rule over us - is violence and bloodshed and chaos to create empty shelves and a populace willing to trade every birthright they have, for the promise of bread.

That my FRiends is what is happening right in front of your face.

So I guess if it comforts you to delude yourself into strategizing the next election and what party to join - I see no difference in that than simply digging a hole to bury your head in.

Know what time it is.

For assuredly our enemies know the time, because they are acting on it.

Good thought but, personally, I have nothing in common with democrats, even blue cog democrats. I could never join a union, support affirmative action or ever vote for a democrat. I am a fiscal conservative first and, for all their flaws, Libertarians come closer to that mark than today’s GOP. I no longer know what Republicans stand for but I know it’s not freedom, the constitution or conservative values.

I can’t find a reason to support the GOP any longer. They are run by an elite that refuses to uphold conservative values. When we do elect Republican conservatives they are turned once they hit DC. It is a shame. They have played us for fools again and again.

Peter king is a flaming RINO on so many issues. Just check out his gun control rating. It sucks. That and organizations he worked with back in the day were sending arms to the IRA. He approves of Irish terrorists just not Islamic terrorists.

I know.

Just venting.

It’s getting to point where I’d rather play video games than involve myself in this crap.

I spent thousands of dollars on candidates last year and I’d like to some results.

Oh well. Made plenty of bad investments before. Just want to stay ahead of them.

Time to do my impersonation of Sysiphus.

“Now where did I leave that boulder?”.
