Outside is fine too, you’d just need to worry a little more about bugs.

I got my stuff from a local gardening freak so I dont have a book handy but will look. There is A TON of information online about hydroponics although half of it seems to be marketed to people growing pot.

the ones I like are vertical and take up less space. There are also flat ones which just lay out on the ground.

I have lower back problem and bending down over and over is not good - I need vertical.
