“Do Brits have arteries?”
Up until about 55, then they start to fur up.
Unless you take good care of them, which is not easy with all the hidden rubbish in the food.
That kind of breakfast is a once a week treat.

“croissants “
Remember the puzzled looks when they first appeared in the early ‘80s. You might remember it Joe, they where an exotic fad until we all became used to them.

I’m just relaxing with a cuppa right now. I don’t dare pass it up after a particularly long peiod of stress (72 hours, this time) and besides, it relaxes me. No wonder you Brits always have a stiff upper lip! I’m working on one of my own! LOL! (The tea helps with that!)
It’s overcast here, and 55 degrees (15C) but no wind to speak of, so it’s good. I had my door open yesterday afternoon for several hours. It was nice!
(Wish you were here!)

HAHAHAHA! That looks like the “old” Walmart before it was converted into a “SuperWalmart”...even the mountains in the background look familiar. :o]

Go careful with a stiff upper lip, they can develop a mind of their own.
Everybody thinks Guy Gibson flew that Lancaster, there is evidence it was his stiff upper lip.
Douglas Badder had no legs in that Spitfire, what was operating the Rudder bars? Hmmm...
The Soldier who won the VC in iraq was unconcious whilst driving that Armoured carrier! So what was driving?

Croissants, those rolls you eat at breakfast while you do crossword puzzles. I was told that croissant was French slang for crossword until banned by the French word police for sounding too American. Kinda like a Berliner with out the jelly. You can eat a Berliner while doing a crossword but there is no other connection. I don’t thing crosswords are popular in Germany because most of there words are to long to fit easily.
As soon as I finish posting it will be time to get ready for the day and engage brain beyond babble to talk. Some days I go strait to intelligent chatter. Some days.

That is a classic English breakfast, sweetie.
Bryan and I had it many times when we traveled through England visiting his relatives and vacationing.
But I prefer finnan haddie and ordered it for brek whenever I could. It’s haddock and eggs poached in milk. The very best one I had was at our hotel in Edinburgh when we were on our Scots whiskey tour - self guided.
I love Scotland and Scots. They’re very nice, helpful people, and they know enough to be kind to tourists, LOL, unlike some other parts of the world that will go unnamed.
Oh, my! I do go on, don’t I. I’ll shut up now.

the stores are so massive you can see the curve of the earth in the floor. I remember watching a long corridor buck and twist during the Loma Prieta 'quake.
