Another practical method is to use your home page as a place to store ping list names. This is particularly useful for shared lists, and it allows you access to it from virtually any computer or web device.

One thing we’ve noted for very long ping lists; an exceptionally long list ends up pinging everyone on it more than once, even though only one post calls it into action. It has been suggested that very long ping lists be divided into sections, and each section pinged on its own.
