I’d say that a neighborhood watch is the best place to start. Actually, that’s probably the best place to finish too. After that, if you want to be part of a bigger militia, my vote is with one of these groups:

http://www.navy.mil/
http://www.army.mil/
http://www.af.mil/

Or you can compromise with a state militia.

The 4 websites you posted will probably be the ones dragging you out in the middle of the night shooting your dog and confiscating your weapons as they ship you off to the FEMA camps. I hope they will refuse an illegal order, but if Obama wants it done, who's gonna do it? DHS is said to have about 2 million bodies and about 2 billion rounds of hollow points. There is about 60 million of us and probably about 5% would put up a fuss if the door is kicked in. We still outnumber them. The question will come when police, soldiers, and others are told to fire on fellow citizens, even family. It's been done before in the 1860's. I hope some general would refuse and depose Obama, but you never know. Just look at other countries,....like Syria. How easy would it be for a general to put one round in Assad's brain pan to end the death's of 50k people? We were taught back in the Nam era to refuse illegal orders. I assume the same block of instruction is given today for today's soldiers.

If you remember Waco, however, law enforcement fired into a building with dozens of women and children. They ended up burning them out using military equipment from the National Guard. What if the Nat Guard told them to use their own crap? It only takes a few higher ups to screw the pooch for everybody.
