Catherine, my telling that seems simple but I was scared to death not being able to see the road. I was determined to get to the airport no matter what but I couldn't see the road. There was a car a number of yards in front of me and I was hoping he could see the lines on the road because I could not. I followed the path he was taking. The insides of me wanted off that road right then.
I would never have seen that exit if the rain had not let up at the right time. I had a huge sense of relief when I got on the toll road as there were few cars on there and the rain let up. When I got to the airport, it had not rained there at all and the sun was shining.
You did have the Holy Spirit with you, of that I have no doubt. Unbelievers cannot understand these interventions by the Holy Spirit/Jesus/God.
Oh, I am quite sure you were scared to death. I was in a rain like that once, coming home, and I wanted to pull off the road but couldn’t see the side of it to do so, nor even the car in front of me. I was terrified. So I know it wasn’t a simple thing. And when God delivers you from such a situation, as He did you, it’s plain. There is no doubt.
Unbelievers say that we can’t KNOW God exists; we can only “believe” He does. I beg to differ. We KNOW.
