"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Hey Gina, I've been reading most of today but took time to watch the last few minutes of the ATL/SEA game. What an ending! Did you hear Baltimore's game yesterday? Unbelievable grudge match. When it ended horns and fireworks were going off in my sleepy neighborhood.

My week was great. Started a new job downtown and it couldn’t have gone better. Weather here today is awful...thick fog all day. I got some grilling in yesterday.

How are you?

Hey, congratulations on your new job! That’s great news!

We did hear the Ravens game yesterday. We wondered if you were a Ravens or a Redskins fan. It was a heck of game, too.

We’ve had fog and cloudiness for several days now, and we’re expecting more rain over the next few days.

The week was okay—not too eventful, but we have to go to bed early tonight to get up early in the morning. I may have to listen to The Whistler another evening.

A funeral. Keith’s nephew died, natural causes. He was in his thirties. It’s very sad.

Lance Armstrong is scheduled to be interviewed by Oprah on Thurs night. I have Directv, & I don’t believe I get her network.

Can’t imagine what he’s going to say after all the lies he told in the past.

Yes. If I say what I really feel it wouldn't be appropriate for this thread.

Armstrong and Oprah. Disgusting.

Reading Tyler Hamilton’s book was a revelation. Have to say I was shocked about what went on in cycling...
