Randy changed his no vote on someone last night to yes for the tie breaker. Randy’s the tie breaking judge. They aren’t giving the bad singers as much time on air as they used to. I’m still hearing a lot of yelling. There is a mic up high, isn’t there? Why are these contestants all yelling? It just means they can sing really loud which can hurt the audience’s ears.

The purple hair chick = Obama voter.

Purple hair chick intrigues me. Unless she was a total plant from the producers (possible), she made it through the cattle call audition, was deemed suitable enough to audition on TV in front of the judges, she invited her friends to be with her in her moment of glory, but they looked just as shocked as Seacrest when she came screaming out of the room flashing the double birds.

So did she go through all that just to scream on national TV (also possible), or did she walk in there planning to sing, but her nerves got the better of her and she started screaming and couldn’t stop, so—while she’s still screaming—she realizes she’s blown the audition and thinks “whatever” and keeps screaming, more at her own failure than anything else?

Or I might be overanalyzing this :)
