Can the surface map network drives? sign on to a domain?

I haven’t tried. My desktop/laptop can, so I am guessing the Surface can.

I am writing apps to interact with SharePoint through internet access, so I haven’t needed to set the surface up that way.

The Surface RT tablets cannot. The Surface Pro tablets due out in the next few weeks should be able to.
