Well considering that now a days there are so many ways for someone to access TV on a portable device, let alone just watching TV, I can see where they would not want to have the suspect see what they are doing. As far as ordering the helicopter to stop showing the area, I guess if they did not comply the police could have forced them to leave the area. When lives are at stake I think the press should back off.
