I have hearing aids that have wireless capabilities, and can be linked to an Icom Phonak. The Phonak is basically a blue-tooth link between a blue-tooth-capable device (smartphone, IP-phone, and some TV's). It also has an audio linking accessory that you can use to transfer audio to blue-tooth via a normal audio (earphone) mini-jack. It works kind of like a Star Trek communicator with a cellphone (freaks some people out). It turns my disability into an advantage, and I wouldn't be without it...

Yeah when Mike told me about his new hearing aids I wanted some, and I don’t even need them, but they sound really cool and handy for everybody. Technology is pretty cool sometimes.
