I’ll keep eating margarine because I don’t like butter!

Been eating it for over 70 years so why quit now!

Butter also tastes better. I can’t see how people can eat margarine, nasty stuff.

Back when public schools were worth a damn, we used to make butter in a churn. Good stuff...real good stuff. Crack heads don’t know what they’re missing...

Butter. Salt. Eggs. Milk. Lard. Beef tallow. Fresh beef, pork, and chicken. Garden veggies. Cane sugar. Home-ground wheat.

Pretty much what our forebears ate, and most of them lived into their eighties, nineties, or even past one hundred in a few cases.

No margarine allowed at our house. No way. That stuff will kill ya.

I’ve always hated margarine and immediately noticed the difference when my mother used it instead of butter. When I left the house, I never bought margarine. I’ve always used butter. There’s no substitute.

Butter in our house as a child. Butter in my house now. Recently we use unsalted butter. The taste is more delicate. Go Butter!! And not the south park kid :-)

already knew this. margarine isn’t that far away from being just spreadable, flavored plastic.

With all the prepared foods we buy with God knows what in them, the little bit of butter we use is meaningless.

Makes sense. Dairy products? Oil? What is better?

This goes under the no s--t sherlock file.

From my own deductions I think that polyunsaturated vegetable oils are also a leading contributor to the rise of the acid reflex syndrome, and other digestional complaints. I wish they would do a study on that.

Also, I have read studies that indicate them in the increase of tumors and cancers.

I remember when I decided to feed my animals "health food" that contained canola oil. All my cats and my dog grew fatty tumors. I studied canola oil on the net and stopped giving them the "health food" and all of their tumors went away save one that one of my cats still has. Also, when they were on that food they became somewhat lethargic and their coats were dull. The main difference that I could see in the ingredient list was the canola oil being it's main oil.

I have never seen Land O Lakes advertise that “it taste just like margarine.”

Yeah, how about that, eh?

Unsalted. Yum.

Tillamook extra sharp cheddar is darned good as well.

Studies have suggested heavy use of Margarine can cause one to develop extremely large whip-worms, from larva imbedded in Margarine during the manufacturing process.

In several cases involving affected patients, they had to be placed on their stomachs with their mouths propped open. Raw meat was placed just outside the mouth and when the worms exited the mouth towards the meat, the worm was actually grabbed by the physician and pulled out in order to remove the giant parasite.

frickin butter is healthier. You don’t have to swab a ton of it on your bread but, a cube on your tub of popcorn is just so delicious!

Here’s a trick. Use a cube of unsalted butter and then use a bit of garlic salt. You’ll use less salt and have a great taste of popcorn.

Yummm!!!
