Drugs are illegal. But someone else breaking into your house to kill you so they can steal your drugs is still a crime.
Killing someone who wants to hurt you so they can steal from you is worthy of them getting shot, drugs or the family jewels, makes no difference IMO.
No, they're not. They're just making national news more. Violent crime rates in this country are the lowest they've been since 1960.
As long as you a.) refrain from dealing drugs and b.) don't live in the ghetto, your chances of being a victim of violent crime are about the same as being struck by lightening.
The media is publicizing each and every violent crime to drive a gun control agenda. Don't buy it.
