perhaps we need to copy FL in a fashion.
teachers who suspend students for defending themselves are CRIMINALLY liable (felony) and AUTOMATICALLY lose tenure and are suspended without pay pending criminal trial.
No reservation of conviction by statute. Mandatory conviction if plead out.
