Was is the correct word to use as she filed for divorce on Jan. 3, 2013. Danica was married to Paul Hospenthal for seven yrs before the filing. She’s now dating fellow driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. or so the rumor mills say.
If I wanted to be taken seriously as a viable contender in a male dominated sport, there is no way there would be a photo like this of me. I would be judged on my professional driving ability ONLY. Then when I whined or complained it wouldn’t sound so silly.

Patti wasn’t really interested in the sport until she obtained her licence at the age of sixteen and then it all changed. She went out of control!

she has two careers- driver AND model. I dont fault her for persuing them both. People want to see her, she has a sponsor, capitalism is working for her...
Anna Kornikova was the same- mediocre tennis player, great model.
Many football and other (male) sports stars have also modeled underwear ads (that women seemed to like) without being “not taken seriously” as a sports player anymore...
