I would have to say my best was a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. Fit me well, fun to drive, had some comfort, good reliability, had some creature comforts to it.

Worst - '83 Datsun 310 GX - must have been a flood car because of the odor when it got wet. The shifter came off in my hand on the freeway, was able to use vice grips to shift to get it home.
Most fun - '94 Camaro - used to be known as the green streak on mountain roads. Went to Wyoming to get real fireworks one time, nearly 2000 mile round trip in less than a day...I'm a little more mature now. The last ex-wife spun it in the rain and bounced both sides off the guard rail...body shop did a great job but it was never the same. Traded it for a '96 Blazer, ugh.
Most reliable - '84 Isuzu Trooper - have taken it everywhere and have never gotten stuck, even the places my friends got out and walked 2 miles uphill out of a river gorge because they were scared. Still have it at 240,000 miles.
Best? My 75 MGB. Second Best? My 1998 Mazda MPV (before the makeover)
Worst? My 1973 Ford Pinto.
Second worst? My 1995 Dodge Caravan

My best, 1986 Celica GT-S. Bought it with about 40K miles on it, drove it till it had 180K, nothing but routine maintenance and tons of smiles in between.
Worst: 1981 Mustang 4-banger. It actually wasn’t that bad a car (anemic, but reliable), but worst of the ones I’ve owned.
Nastiest: '70 Ford Country Squire station wagon [9 passenger], black with the wood grain on the sides, 429 4/v, C6 auto, only passed once. Even the guys with their hotrod GTO's and Camaros they thought were unbeatable wanted nothing of this one, har! Just stab the gas pedal if you want to leave two long black streaks on the pavement, fun on demand, what a grin! A nasty piece of work by FMC, and I got it from my boss for a c-note!
Worst? How about we call it PITA [pain in the ass] instead? My 1st motorcycle was a '73 Kawasaki S3 triple that fouled the #3 plug in short order, I learned to carry a ratchet and spare plugs. And 2-stroke oil. Etc, etc, etc. Great thread, and I knew the GTO/goat ref was coming! ;)
When I have the inclination and the Wife lets me spend the money I don’t currently have to squander (LOL), I want to get a 67 Mustang Fastback Body and build a “sort of” Bullett Mustang. I like the little extras the 67 body had that the 68 didn’t.
My version will have a new Coyote 5.0 Crate Engine, six speed manual, A/C, Limited Slip and 17” American Racing “cloverleaf” Mags. I keep telling myself “someday”.
Way back when, I missed out on a 69 Shelby 350. One of the Hertz Rental Cars of the day.
My Dad's “sometime” Business Partner got hold of it and was selling it for $2,000 back in 1974. My Dad told me about the car, so I called the guy and said I would come by the next morning after hitting the Bank to buy it.
Well, the next morning I call him to say I'm going to the Bank and he informs me that some guy came by with the Cash so he sold it out from under me. Almost forty years later and it still pisses me off. I never talked to the guy again.
Sold it to buy my wife's engagement ring in 1958.
Now have a custom 36 Chevy 3 window coupe so that when I get alshimers I can look at the registration and find out how old i am! Never bought a"worst" car!
Oh the memories of my childhood. Dad had a 59 Rambler wagon he bought in 1965. Several bad quirks. Yea one was the shifter. I was 8 years old and I'd get out and move the linkage at the firewall. Second thing with it was eating up ignition switches. That's when I learned to jump around the solenoid. Third thing was it's major hunger for rear wheel bearings.
I guess maybe 5 years after he sold it we were at a parts store. I told my dad hey there's your old Rambler. He chuckled and said hush. We could tell it was the wagon from a crack in the windshield. The owner was buying wheel bearings.
I learned to drive in a field with an old 55 Plymouth Belvedere wagon.

A friend of mine had one that we put a V8-60, ford 3 speed trans and a Ford rear end shortened for the width from one of his fathers midget race cars, we had a lot of fun with that one!
