Google tells me that Mohawk Valley is still in the state of N.Y.

Disappointing but not surprising since Remington is owned by Cerberus Capital Management, who are trying to unload all of their arms manufacturing since the Sandy Hook massacre.
They are running scared by state pension plans threats to unload their stocks in Cerberus.

I’m hoping that it’s just Remington’s way of REMINDING the NY state legislature that they COULD expand operations, or those expansions could just as well end up in another state.

Remington is not that stupid.
