Good post - my mom has chronic fatigue syndrome and I have pressed the issue that she take Famvir. It seemed to help last year during a severe CFS episode. She is having another and if she responds again I will be more convinced that the CFS is partially if not primarily caused by human herpesvirus.
If it is related to herpes then she should take the amino acid L-lysine.
Lemon Balm (herb) is supposed to help with herpes.
