The fog that was being referred to is actually what you would call 'Rain', here it is 'scotch-mist' or 'fog' in FR speak .LOL.

How true that is!

I survived the Trip from Hell! We were stuck in Memphis for seven hours due to lack of A/C on the plane.

This was AFTER, we had ridden over the tail end of the storm heading east; then went through the major bulk of it, and bumped our way to the leading edge, hit terra firma with such a loud and shaky landing that there was dead silence on the plane.

Flights into Memphis from Chicago and points east were delayed as much as five hours because of said band of storms, but we were all grumpy from being boarded and deboarded. (At least we weren’t waterboarded!)

Once the aircraft was fixed, we had to wait for a new crew, since the original crew had timed out. We were finally allowed to board again, but sat on the tarmac and waited another hour for the head count to be verified and permission given to take the souls to Charlotte.

Then we had to wait for the flight plan to be cleared, and finally, we were airborn. With an excellent tail wind, thanks to the storm, no doubt, the 1 hour 48 minute flight was cut to 1 hour 22 minutes. And by the time we landed, everyone was happy! LOL!

So Cyber, my beloved, I am here, in the Eastern Segment of the west, and looking out at some gray skies. Go figure.
