I’d agree with Secret Agent Man. For instrumental theme, however, I consider the best ever to be “Jonny Quest.”

Five-O

Never gets old!

I let that and the theme from Dallas play through every time I watch either of those programs.

If you’ve never seen an episode, but listen to the song, you have the premise for the comedy.

The “Car 54 where are you?” song still cracks me up after 50 years

I have every episode of that on VHS. I think Car 54 was the funniest show ever. The episode where Schnauzer thinks he getting a huge sum of money from the fund for injured cops is hilarious. Paul Reed as Captain Bloch was a great comedian. His facial expressions would make a scene funny.

The theme from Gilligan’s Island is great for ridding yourself of earworms though.

Five-O

Its the best. So good I even watch the new Five-0 shows just to hear the theme. The acting and plots stink. It could be improved if they ended each show with “BOOK HIM DANO”

I’ve always suspected that Lucas McCain, aka, “The Rifleman” was the inspiration for “Psycho Dad.”

I can recite that from memory:

There’s holdup in the Bronx.
Brooklyn’s broken out in fights
There’s a traffic jam in Harlem that’s backed up to Jackson Heights.
There’s a scout troop short a child,
Khrushchev’s due at Idlewild.

Car 54 where are you?

There are two kinds of guys in this world....those who like Ginger, and those who like MaryAnn.

I'm a MaryAnn kind of guy, myself, as well.

“Topping the “Most Irritating”: Three’s Company”

Sorry. The theme song from “Friends” was the ABSOLUTE WORST EVER! At least you only had to hear the theme song from Three’s Company when you watched the show. They decided to loop the “Friends” theme song into a 3 minute song and put it out on the RADIO.

I was working at a store with “soft rock” on the speakers and I had to hear that travesty of a ‘song’ at least four times a day five days a week for a couple months!

Doe anyone remember the theme songs to “Baretta” or “Welcome Back Kotter?”
