He has to, because right now New Yorkers are suddenly remembering they are being disarmed, and oh, yeah, criminals don’t play by the rules. The only thing Bloomberg can offer is a circus to make people comfortable and go back to sleep, because this proves he can’t protect citizens in New York any more than Boston can.

They are either conditioning us for a federal take over- OR there is something very nasty going on.
