Sounds yummy!...Though I would not have thought of using prunes with those other ingredients. I guess I have some experimenting to do! I like your idea of substituting the garlic.
I would probably put the prunes in a blender with a little of the broth and puree them, since I don’t like the texture.
I read that 7 prunes a day will clear out the plaque from your arteries and keep plaque from forming. So I was determined to eat them. I couldn’t even choke them down by dipping them in chocolate.LOL
It wasn’t the flavor either. It was the texture for me.
